Sarnia Lambton Chamber hires new leader
March 11, 2022
The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce has a new CEO.
Carrie McEachran will replace the retiring Alan Calvert in May.
McEachran has been the executive director of Rebound for the past six years. She’s also been a manager of at Community Living and Pathways Health Centre for Children and is a small business owner as well, helping women with leadership and management skills.
“The board believes that Carrie’s extensive leadership experience and her passion for community development and growth makes her the ideal CEO to lead the Chamber into the exciting next chapter of post-pandemic recovery and rebuilding,” said Kathleen Mundy, head of the hiring committee and former Chairperson of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce.
“While the last two years have provided more challenges than anyone could have imagined, it has also left us with great hope and opportunities to reimagine and rebuild. I look forward to working with the local business community in doing just that,” said McEachran in a news release.
