March 15, 2022
Another person has been charged in the murder of a Windsor man found on Walpole Island.
Last year, the body of Oyebode Oyenuga was found on Walpole Island First Nation. He had been reported missing in Windsor in February 2021.
On March 10, OPP officers went to North York and arrested a 21 year old man in connection with Oyenuga’s murder. Nashaye Walker is now the seventh person to be charged in Oyenuga’s first degree murder.
He’s being held in custody along with five of the six others who remain behind bars.
The investigation continues under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
