Students at LCCVI were marking World Down Syndrome Day by rock’n their socks Monday. Here Breya Burke, Jaiden Bedard, Emma Patchett and Sarah Burnard show off their colourful socks in support of people with Down Syndrome. Socks were first used to celebrate the day because they’re the same shape as a chromosome and people with Down Syndrome have an extra chromosome.
