Former Courtright haunt of Al Capone being demolished

Driver faces impaired charges after vehicle catches fire

A Brooke-Alvinston man is facing charges after crashing his vehicle near Inwood.
Lambton OPP were called to a single vehicle crash on Forest Road near Courtright Line March 19 along with paramedics and firefighters. It had struck a guard rail and the only person inside got out of the vehicle before it went up in flames.
Police talked to the driver at the scene and decided to do a breathalyzer test.
Gerald Manneke, 57, of Brooke-Alvinston is facing two impaired driving charges and will be in court in April.
