Conservation authority watching flood waters as rain continues
Watford students recognized for Remembrance Day art

A Watford student’s poster is advancing to the district finals the Royal Canadian Legion contest.
Jane Van Damme, a Grade 8 student at St. Peter Canisius School, Watford, placed first at both Branch and Zone Level for her black and white poster entry into the contest. Her entry now moves on to the District competition.
And Revy Alberti, a Grade 6 student at East Lambton Elementary School, Watford, placed first at Branch Level and third at Zone Level.
The students were presented with cash awards recently by members of the Watford Legion.
