A few scary moments for a driver stopping for a coffee.

Just before 10 Wednesday morning a driver pulled his car through the Tim Horton’s drive through and after he’d ordered saw the front end on the driver’s side was in flames. Neighbours say thick smoke could be seen billowing through the drive thru.

A fast-thinking passerby used a fire extinguisher from a near by business to put out the flames before it got out of hand.

Petrolia/North Enniskillen firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after the fire was out and checked to be sure there were no hot spots in the car and helped clean up the mess.
