Counseling available as LCCVI students headed back to class Monday
June 6, 2022
LCCVI students are back in class today after the building was closed Friday after threats were made.
Just before the school closed Thursday, school administrators called the OPP about threats made against the school in a bathroom. The OPP advised the school to close as it continued the investigation.
In a news release, the Lambton-Kent District School Board says the OPP doesn’t believe there is an imminent threat to public safety and the school reopened Monday.
The Wellbeing team is on-site today to offer counselling to those who might need it.
