Robinson wins triple bronze at Canadian Junior’s

Marlowe Robinson captured three bronze medals at the Canadian Junior and Juvenile Weightlifting Championships last weekend in Quebec.
The 17 year-old LCCVI student had a 62 kg snatch, a 72 kg clean and jerk for a 134 kg total in the women’s 59 kg category.
She finished third in both lifts and in total.
Meantime, Declan Watson, 15, broke both the snatch and clean and jerk provincial records in his weight class and finished fifth.
The Errol Village athlete was the youngest lifter in the 89 kg category.
The pair will compete in the Young Hercules event in St. Thomas next month.
