Three areas in PW dealing with outages says Hydro One
A collision between a tractor and some power lines on London Line east of Reece’s Corners brought down five hydro poles and put about 300 people in the dark Friday afternoon.
It’s one of three power outages in the area right now according to Hydro One which is dealing with problems due to high winds.
The driver of the tractor was out of the vehicle and Wyoming firefighters were on site around 4 pm until Hydro One crews arrived. It’s not clear when the outage will be fixed.
Another 1,100 people are without power in the Erroll Village and Camlachie area as of 5 pm Friday and about 500 between London Line and the lakeshore along Mandaumin are also without power at 5 pm Friday.
