Watford man facing assault charges

OPP say he fled and was tracked by K9 Unit
Lambton OPP used the Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Team to track down a Watford man after an assault.
Monday night around 11 pm, OPP were called to St. Clair Street for an assault. The suspect, a 36 year-old Watford man, had fled on foot.
Police called in Blitz who in 30 minutes tracked down the suspect who had traveled two kilometers.
Members of the ERT arrested the man.
He’s facing three assault charges and is in custody.
