Wyoming wrangles a bronze at the Eastern Canadian championship

The Wyoming Wranglers are home with bronze medals to their credit from the Eastern Canadian girls’ U-17 fastball championships on Prince Edward Island.
After an opening round loss in the round robin, the Wrangers rattled out six straight wins to advance to the semi-finals on the weekend. There they lost a tough 5-4 decision to a team from New Brunswick.
Kylee Shortt of the Wranglers was named player of the game in the final four contest.
