Lambton councillors support immigration program for hard-to-fill jobs

LCCVI athletes heading to SWOSSA tennis championship

Several LCCVI athletes have qualified for the SWOSSA tennis championships next week in Windsor.
Tessa and Ella Jackson finished second in the girls’ doubles competition at the LKSSAA event this week in Chatham. The Lancer team bowed to a duo from Chatham-Ursuline in the final.
Danton Webster in the boys singles and Ally Goodacre in the girls singles have qualified for SWOSSA as have Timothee Noirhomme and Yarko Zelenchuk in the boys open event along with Clara Biewirth and Sam Hayter in the mixed doubles.
LCCVI finished fourth out of 12 schools in the team standings at the Lambton Kent competition.
Chatham’s John McGregor won the team title.
