Ferguson plus some new faces in Brooke-Alvinston

Incumbent Mayor David Ferguson will be at the helm of Brooke-Alvinston council for another four years.

Ferguson beat Councillor Jamie Armstrong with 634 of the votes to Armstrong’s 524.

There will be a number of new faces at council.

Frank Nemcek garnered the most votes earning his spot on council with 610 votes. Three newcomers will join him, the former president of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture Inwood’s Don McCabe, Community booster and Optimist member, Jenny Redick and local entrepreneur Craig Sanders. They replace current councillors Wayne Deans, Jeannette Douglas and Armstrong.
