Canada votes today; polls open in Lambton at 9:30 am

Squires hang ten on Milverton in senior hockey at Greenwood

All but one skater with the Petrolia Squires registered at least one point in a 10-4 home ice win over Milverton in Western Ontario Athletic Association senior hockey Friday night at Greenwood.
Ryan Trottier led the way for the winners with a hat trick and an assist while Curtis Helps and Jared Pageau both added a goal and an assist. Other Petrolia goals were scored by Eric Marsh, Koke Keating, Tanner Harris, Sam McCormack and Isaac McLean.
Tom Morley contributed three assists and Steve Farlow, Zach Van Eyk, Brandon Bigoers, Jack Hackett and Brendon Merritt all had two helpers.
Brandon Campbell made 20 saves in the Squire goal.
On Saturday in Ripley, Connor MacKinlay made his season debut making 23 stops for Petrolia in a 3-1 loss to the Wolves. Pageau had the lone goal for the Squires.
Petrolia, now 6-6 on the season, hosts Tavistock on Friday at 8:30.
