Flags fall to Lakeshore

The Lakeshore Canadiens downed the Flags, 4-1 in PJHL action Wednesday at the Moore Sports Complex. Brody Genyn had the lone goal for the Flags, his 18th of the season. He is now tied for tenth in the province in goal scoring. John Chartrand made 30 saves in taking the loss between the pipes.
The game-winning goal came shorthanded just shy of the 12-minute mark of the second period to break 1-1 tie. The visitors added two goals in just 90 seconds of each other early in the third.
Mooretown, now 10-8-1 on the campaign takes on the Kings in Dresden on Friday. The Kings beat the Sharks, 5-4 in overtime in Wheatley on Wednesday for just their third victory of the season.
