Watford’s Ty Moffatt had a goal in a losing cause as the Sarnia Legionnairs fell to St. Thomas.
The Sarnia Legionnaires have now gone winless in 10 games following the loss Thursday. Brothers Colton and Cameron Graham and Moffatt scored for Sarnia.
The Legionnaires took an early lead but trailed 3-1 at the first intermission. After the teams split two games in the middle frame, Moffatt’s marker cut the deficit to 4-3. But, the Stars then scored four straight for the victory.
Sarnia is now 9-15-4 on the season.
They host Leamington tomorrow night before taking on the Flyers in the tomato town on Sunday afternoon. Sarnia’s last victory was against the Flyers in Leamington on Oct. 30.
