Killer Bees fall to Tilbury
December 12, 2022
Dawson Winchester broke up Tilbury’s shutout bid with an early third period tally for Alvinston but it wasn’t nearly enough.
The Alvinston Killer Bees’ losing streak is now at four games following a 6-1 home ice loss Saturday afternoon to the Tilbury Bluebirds.
Former Petrolia Flyer Tyler Richardson made his Killer Bee goaltending debut making 40 saves.
On Friday in Strathroy, the Jets downed the Bees, 6-3. Winchester and Bayly Fryfogle each had a goal and an assist for Alvinston with Avery Antone adding the other. Spencer Robertson made 50 stops in the Bees cage.
Alvinston, 3-8-1 on the season, closes out its pre-holiday home schedule with a rare Friday night game against Erin at the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Complex at 8 pm. The Bees are in Stratford on Saturday afternoon.
