A South Huron man is in police custody after a chase through Lambton Shores.
On Dec. 16, Lambton OPP say the Anishinabek Police Service Kettle Point officers tried to stop a vehicle. The driver fled.
OPP officers patrolling Lakeshore Road before 9 pm found the vehicle in a ditch near Mandaumin Road. Police could see someone running away, so the Canine Unit was called in. The man was arrested a short time later.
Mitchell Harris, 34, of South Huron, has been charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a schedule one substance and failing to comply with bail orders.
He’s being held in custody.
