Firefighters battle blaze at old generating station

St Clair Township firefighters from Courtright and Brigden are on the scene of a fire at the former Lambton Generating Station on the St. Clair Parkway in Courtright.
Crews were called to the demolition site around 11 this morning for a fire in one of the towers. Few details are available but crews are still on scene.
The coal fired power plant closed in 2013 and has been in the process of demolition since 2019.
