Eagles land U15 crown at Silver Stick finals in Pelham

East Lambton won the U15 C tier two finals at the North American Silver Stick tournament in Pelham on the weekend.
The Eagles blanked the Mooretown Flags, 2-0 in the championship contest. East Lambton advanced with a 5-2 win over South Huron in the semi-finals and Mooretown blanked Colorado, 5-0 in its final four game. The Flags (4-0) and East Lambton (3-0-1) finished one-two in the preliminary round standings.
Meantime, the Sarnia Sting U11 B’s, the Point Edward Black Hawks U18 Local League team and the Lambton Shores Predators Local League squad all made their respective finals but lost and the East Lambton Eagles and Lambton Shores Predators made it to the semi-finals in the U13 and U11 C finals but fell short.
