New cash for fire training
February 8, 2023
Enbridge Gas is helping Plympton-Wyoming purchase firefighting training materials. Representatives from the company were in Wyoming this morning to present a cheque for $5,000. It’s part of the company’s hSafe Community Project Assist–a program with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council that offers extra training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in the communities Enbridge serves. In all the company will provide $250,000 to 50 departments. Pictured here are Plympton-Wyoming CAO Carolyn Tripp, Mayor Gary Atkinson, Robin Ellwood, Advisor, Sarnia Operations, Enbridge, Councillor Bob Woolvett, and Fire Chief Darryl Thompson who is also director of emergency management.
