Four charged with drug trafficking by Anishinabek Police after stop in Lambton Shores

Thedford man faces charges after motorcycle flees police

A Thedford man is facing four charges after fleeing from police on a motorcycle in the Lambton Shores community.
Lambton OPP saw a motorcycle on Main Street March 16, just before 7 pm. Police recognized the man and found he wasn’t licensed to drive motorcycles.
OPP officers tried to the stop the man, but the motorcycle took off at “a high rate-of-speed.”
Officers later went to a home where a 28 year-old man was taken into custody. Tyler Boyko has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving without a license, operating a vehicle without insurance.
Police also seized what they suspect is methamphetamine. Boyko also faces a drug possession charge.
He’s been released from police custody to appear in court.
