Even a downpour didn’t deter the Alvinston Optimist Club from holding its Easter egg hunt Saturday. The children couldn’t go collect eggs so, instead, the Easter Bunny gave out the eggs with draws made for chocolate bunnies. Everyone gathered in the pavilion behind the Brooke Alvinston Inwood Community Complex. Despite the weather, there was a large crowd of children and their parents to participate.
