North Lambton Girls win senior basketball title
Eagle U15s make it to Red Hat final in Windsor

The East Lambton U15 Eagles fell just short of its goal of winning the red hats bowing to the Otonobee Wolves – near Peterborough – in the OMHA U15 tier 3 final on Sunday afternoon in Windsor. The final score was 3-2.
The Eagles reached the championship contest with wins over Goderich, Norwood and Millbrook in the preliminary round a 7-6 overtime verdict against the South Grey Spartans in the semi-finals.

The Eagles beat the John McGregor Panthers 53-31 Friday at the Forest high school. Alexis Wice led the Eagles with 17 points, Lainie Rintoul had nine and Lily Heynbergen had seven in the victory.
