The annual Yard Sales Days in Petrolia is off to a soggy start. The Findleyson’s and their helpers on Joe Street were scrambling to bring their treasurers inside as the rain started Friday morning. The forecast is calling for wet weather both Friday and Saturday.
I would like to see Petrolia’s Town Wide Yard Sales in say June. It is always freezing cold and frosty or pouring rain. To stand outside for two days in this type of weather is hard to take.
These sales bring lots of folks to town not only for the yards sales but for shopping uptown and the local restaurants.
I had people from London, Mount Brydges and Blenheim today. It is the outing for the weekend.
