Promises of ‘the cheesiest ever’ Pizzafest June 3
May 5, 2023
Organizers are promising the cheesiest Pizzafest ever for the Petrolia festivals’ 10th anniversary.
The event that draws pizza-lovers to Victoria Park will see seven local restaurants offer up slices for $2.50. The price has gone up this year, organizers say, because of the rising cost of the ingredients.
Aside from the food, there will be bouncy castles and games for kids, a beer garden and four musical acts, Jesse & Brian from Victoria Playhouse, Electric Popsicle – an 80s cover band, The Geoff Masse Band and Painkiller Jane closes out the event which runs from noon to 7 pm.
Organizers are hoping to top the 7,000 slices sold in 2022.
