May 23, 2023
McKay Park in Wyoming was full of activity on Saturday, May 20 as the Plympton-Wyoming Recreation Committee hosted its Picnic in the Park. The miniature train was a hit which continued to children and their parents across the park during the four hour event. A rock climbing wall was another highlight of the day as many children climbed to the top to get a better vantage point of the park. The Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department was also on hand to give many youngsters a chance to sit behind the wheel of a fire truck and get a close up look at the fire equipment which keeps the community safe. Games, booths and activities kept many youngsters busy to the point many surely had to take naps once arriving home.
