Killer Bees name new captain
September 8, 2023
Matt Stevens will wear the C this season for the Alvinston Killer Bees.
“Matt’s dedication to our organization and his leadership on and off the ice are qualities that have earned the respect of his teammates and team executive,” said the team in a social media post announcing the appointment.
Stevens, from Watford, replaces Scott Case who is now on the Bees’ coaching staff.
Meantime, Alvinston has also signed forward Michael McArthur. The St. Thomas native has most recently played NCAA hockey in upstate New York.
