Former OHLers lead Killer Bees to victory

A pair of former OHL players helped the Alvinston Killer Bees to a 4-3 home ice win over Strathroy Saturday.

Ex-Barrie Colt Matteo Lalama made 47 stops in his Bees debut while former Guelph Storm James MacEwan had the game-winning goal and added two assists. McEwan, the league’s first star last week, now has nine points in two games.

Bayly Fryfogle scored twice for Alvinston with Dawson Winchester adding the other. Caden Faulkner had two assists.

The Bees are now 3-2 on the season.

The same teams will play again in Alvinston next Saturday night.
