Nine arrested after drug raids in Sarnia and Ailsa Craig

Nine people – including three from Sarnia – have been arrested and are facing an array of drug and weapons charges.
Wednesday, the OPP’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, along with officers from Middlesex, Oxford, Brant and Lambton – members of the Community Street Crime Units – after two homes were searched.
Around 4:45pm, OPP stopped a vehicle on London Line, arresting two people and seizing fentanyl and methamphetamines.
Police then went to a house on George Street with a warrant, where they took another person into custoday.
OPP also went to a home on Creamery Road in Ailsa Craig and arrested six people without incident.
Police seized fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, five weapons, cell phones, drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.
Donald Rivard, 43, of Sarnia faces five drug charges including possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a taser, stolen vehicle, stolen property, and a weapon when prohibited, and failing to follow bail conditions.
Carly Timms, 34, of Sarnia faces five drug charges, weapons and stolen property charges and Melissa Matthew, 39, faces two charges of possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Two people from London and four from Ailsa Craig were also charged.
