Two Lady Flags teams win Silver Stick titles, go undefeated in Sarnia Finals

The Mooretown Lady Flags U11 and U13 were flawless to win two International Silver Stick titles at the Sarnia finals.

The Lady Flag U11 team beat Sarnia Jr Lady Sting 4-1 to open the tournament and never looked back. They beat St. Marys 5-0, Sylvania 6-0, and the Lambton Attack 4-0 to move to the semi finals where they beat the Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting 4-1.

The Lady Flags then beat undefeated South Huron 1-0 in the final.

In the U13 B division, the Lady Flags beat Halton Hills 7-0 in the opening game – the first of four round robin wins. The Flags topped Seattle 12-1, the Lambton Attack 6-2 and downed St. Marys Rock in the semi finals 7-0.

It was an all Lambton final, with Mooretown scoring the lone goal to beat the Lambton Attack 1-0 and take the Silver stick title.
