RCMP to ride into Petrolia for 150th celebration

The RCMP Musical Ride is coming to Petrolia as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations.

It will be the first time the troop of up to 32 riders, who are all police officers, and their horses, hold a show in the town. The musical ride has been in Lambton County several times in the last decade including in Alvinston and Brigden.

The ride features the riders and horses performing intricate formations and drills set to music for about 30 minutes.

The Petrolia Enniskillen Agriculture Society will host the event June 15 and 16. Ticket details will be released at a later date.
