Sarnia woman wins Dream Home

Linda Weeres has a big decision to make.

The Sarnia woman’s ticket was the winner of the Bluewater Health Foundations Dream Home Lottery grand prize – a $1.7 million home near Camlachie. The draw was made today.

Weeres can choose to keep the home and its furnishings or take $900,000 in cash.

Gwen Rogers of Sarnia picked up another big prize, nearly $324,000 from the 50/50 draw.

Since its inception, the lottery has raised nearly $10 million for Sarnia-Lambton’s community hospitals, Bluewater Health and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital. The money raised with the lottery will be used to improve Bluewater Health’s Cancer Care Clinic.
