Traffic stops lead to drug charges

A St. Clair Township woman is among five people charged after a couple of traffic stops where drugs were seized.

Lambton OPP say on Feb. 15, the Street Crimes Unit and Walpole Island Police arrested people from Windsor, Wallaceburg, Chatham and St. Clair Township in an ongoing drug investigation. Police say the five were arrested during “several traffic stops following drug trafficking investigations.

Police seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine, ammunition and distribution materials in the traffic stops.

Brittany Parker, 32 of St. Clair Township faces two trafficking charges, careless transportation of ammunition, and failing to meet bail conditions as has Ryan Langstaff, 34, of Wallaceburg. He faces an additional charge of possessiong ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.

Also charged are Zachariah Charron, 24 of Windsor, Dorian Namink, 25 of Wallaceburg, who faces a trafficking charge as well as resisting a police officer, and Connor Tamblyn, 30, of Chatham.

Charron, Namink and Tambly were held for a bail hearing.
