Fraud pilot project in Lambton saves $160,000 in six months

The East Lambton Eagles U13 team wore their red hats during a traditional fire truck victory parade through Warwick after winning the OMHA Tier 2 championship Sunday.
The Eagles scored three times in a little more than four minutes in the third period to erase a 1-0 deficit and beat the Wallaceburg Lakers, 3-2 in the title game in Halton Hills.
The Eagles advanced with a 1-0 win over Arran-Elderslie (Port Elgin-area) in the semi-finals scoring the game-winner, shorthanded, late in the third period.
East Lambton had a win and two ties in the preliminary round.
