Killer Bees hope to defy home ice curse to take WOSHL series Tuesday

Brennan Feasey scored five times and added two assists to lead Alvinston to a 10-7 win over the Fighting Irish in Stratford Saturday to continue the visitors’ win streak in the WOSHL semi final.
Feasey now has 17 goals and 29 points in nine postseason games this season, including nine goals in his past two games. The Bees now lead the best-of-seven Western Ontario Super Hockey League semi-final, three games to two with the road team winning all five of the contests. Game six is in Alvinston Tuesday at 8:15.
James McEwan and Aidan Preuter each scored twice for the Bees with Bayly Fryfogle adding the other. McEwan also had three assists.
Franco Sproviero had five helpers.
After Alvinston jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, Stratford struck three times to a take a 3-2 advantage into the first intermission. The Bees scored twice early in the second to retake the lead and never trailed again.
