Three impaired charges in Lambton in 28 hours

Lambton OPP laid impaired driving charges against three people after three separate incidents.

Friday before 8 pm, OPP received a call of a possible impaired driver on Highway 40 in St. Clair Township. Police stopped the vehicle the caller described and laid two impaired driving charge against a 56 year-old Courtright man.

A few hours later, just before 2 am Saturday, an officer observed a suspicous vehicle on Mandaumin Road in Enniskillen Township and stopped it.An 18 year-old from Wyoming is facing two impaired driving charges in that stop.

And, later that day, at 11:30 pm, Lambton OPP stopped a vehicle on Quaker Road in Warwick Township for a Highway Traffic Act violation. Police say there was open liquor in the car, so they did a roadside test. A 25 year-old from Thedford is facing three impaired driving charges.
