Lambton ‘in the driver’s seat’ as province eyes nuclear power in Courtright
Seven Lancers win at Great Lakes track and field meet

CCVI seniors Jack Helps and Hunter Campbell continue to have success leading up to the LKSSAA track and field championship later this month.
Helps won the senior boys’ triple jump at a pre-meet at the new track facility at Sarnia’s Great Lakes Secondary School Tuesday while Campbell was tops in the senior boys’ shot put.
Other winners from the boys ledger from LCCVI included Hunter Mitchell in the junior boys’ 100 metre hurdles and Damian Weston in the novice boys’ high jump.
Kaiya Greydanus was one of three girls to win their events at GLSS capturing the senior girls’ 100 metre hurdles.
Zoey Zavitz crossed the finish line first in the novice girls’ 200 metre dash and Megan Munro won the novice girls’ 80 metre hurdles.
The final pre-season meet is next Tuesday (May 7) in Chatham.
The LKSSAA championship will take place May 14 and 15, also in Chatham.
