OPP arrest two men on different ends of the county for impaired driving

A crossing at the Bluewater Bridge lead to an impaired driving charge.

Lambton OPP were called to the bridge in Point Edward Saturday around 9 pm for a suspected drunk driver. A Canadian returning from the US was suspected of drinking by Border Service Officers. OPP did a road side screening test and arrested a 43 year old from Camlachie.

Meantime, at 11 pm that same night, Lambton OPP stopped a vehicle on Kimball Road at Lambton Line in St. Clair Township.

Officers administered a roadside test and then took the driver to the Petrolia OPP detachment where he was tested again and charged with impaired driving.

A 25 year-old Sarnia man faces two charges of impaired driving.
