Madeline Merlo to open Hard Oil Music Fest’s country night

Award-winning songwriter Madeline Merlo will be the opening act for Thursday’s night of country at the Hard Oil Music Festival.
Merlo won the Canadian Country Music Association’s Rising Star Award and was nominated twice for Female Artist of the Year, and the winner of the reality TV series Songland.
Her son Champagne Night was recorded and released by Lady A and was the number one song US Country Radio for three weeks and earned her the Canadian Country Music Association Award for Songwriter of the Year.
Merlo will open for Josh Ross.
Tickets are available at www.petrolia150.com and residents can purchase reduced rate tickets until June 10.
