Burns wins OFSSA Silver in shot put

Petrolia’s Rachel Burns has captured Silver at the provincial track and field championship.
The Grade 10 St. Pat’s student started competing in shot put this season throwing around nine meters.
Friday, at OFSSA at Western University, Burns exploded with her final throw, tossing the shot put 12.55m, nearly a half meter further than her personal best of 12.09s.
