Warwick lands $54K grant for upgrades in downtown Watford

Warwick Township is getting a $54,000 grant to upgrade Watford’s downtown.
The township has received the funding from the My Main Street program from the federal government.
Officials say the money will be used to install benches and bike racks, install a games table, landscape lighting and an information map at Bluebird Parkette, put up a new Old Fire Hall Museum sign and purchas 40 new Christmas lights.
The township says much of the work has already been done and the grant is expected to cover the full cost of the upgrade.
