Petrolia Flyers fall to Bulldogs

The Petrolia Flyers will have to wait for another crack at franchise history. In a bid to set a new team record for wins in a single season.

The Flyers fell 4-3 Thursday to the Mount Brydges Bulldogs.

Cam Davidson, Tobias Iantorno and Owen Peters scored from the Flyers with Andrew Jaques adding a pair of assists.

Elijah Grant took the goaltending loss with 42 saves as the visitors outshot Petrolia, 46-40.

The Flyers still lead the Yeck Division with a record of 26-11-3 and 55 points. They are three points ahead of the second-place Exeter Hawks and four point up on Mount Brydges. The Hawks and Bulldogs both have games in hand.

Petrolia is off now until they face off against the Thamesford Trojans Feb. 13 at Greenwood at 7:30.
