OPP lay over 1,000 speeding charges Labour Day weekend
OPP investigating death of Point Edward baby

We’re learning today of an investigation into the death of a Point Edward baby.
Emergency services were called to a home on St. Clair Street in the Point around 1:23 am Saturday for a unresponsive infant. The baby was transported to the hospital and pronouced dead.
Lambton OPP’s Crime Unit, OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Forensic Pathology Service are all investigating the death.
Police have not released any further details.
