No second chance for OFSAA berth for LCCVI
February 28, 2025
LCCVI will not be going back to the provincial high school boys’ A/AA hockey tournament this year.
Essex blanked Lambton Kent Composite, 6-0 on Thursday in Dresden to end LCCVI’s chances of going to OFSAA by winning challenge game.
As it stands now, Essex will take the first SWOSSA spot at the provincial tournament while Belle River, the Windsor-Essex runner up, can challenge LKCS for the second spot.
The Dresden school beat LCCVI, 2-1 in a shootout in the Lambton Kent final earlier this week.
