Squires playoff run over

The Petrolia Squires have bowed out of the Western Ontario Super Hockey League playoffs.
The team lost to Stratford 6-4 Sunday at the Greenwood Recreation Centre, ending the series.
Veteran Kraig Wright had a goal and two assists and Issac McLean had a goal and assist. Also on the Sunday night score sheet were TJ Harris and Ryan Fraser.
Jakob Knowles faced 49 shots on the night, stopping 43 of them.
The Fighting Irish win the series 4-2.

OPP stop driver going over 160 km/h in Dawn-Euphemia

A Point Edward man is facing stunt driving charges after an incident in Dawn-Euphemia. Lambton OPP say around 4:30 pm Friday police saw a vehicle speeding. Officers clocked it going over 160 km/h in a 90 zone on Bentpath Line east of Oil Heritage Road. A 25 year-old was arrested and charged with stunt driving and three impaired driving charges.
