Mooretown pool, fitness centre won’t reopen in September

OPP nab driver doing 145 km/h on Forest Road

A driver with an apparent need for speed is facing charges after a traffic stop on Forest Road.
Around 2:15 pm Tuesday, Lambton OPP noticed a vehicle speeding down Forest Road.
Police clocked the vehicle going 145 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. Officers stopped the car on Egremont Road and arrested one person.
A 23 year-old from London faces four charges including stunt driving and failing to stop for a stop sign.
They also lost their licence for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for two weeks.
