March 18, 2025

Gage Brandon made his OHL debut on Tuesday suiting up for the Flint Firebirds at home against the Guelph Storm.

The Petrolia native was on the fourth line with Max Anderson and Jeremy Martin.

Guelph won the contest, 2-1.

The 16-year-old was a third-round draft choice by the Firebirds in the OHL Priority Selection last April and signed with Flint last summer.

Brandon was a teammate last season with Sting first round pick Alessandro Di Iorio with the Vaughan Kings.

It’s not immediately know if Brandon will play for Flint this Friday when they visit the Sting in Sarnia.
