March 27, 2025
A Brampton man has been charged in a fiery accident on Highway 402 Wednesday.
Lambton OPP, paramedics and Sarnia firefighters were called to the westbound lanes of Highway 402 in Sarnia after two transports collided.
One was fully engulfed in flames. Two people in that transport were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injures.
The highway was closed between Indian Road and Christina Street for most of the day.
Police now say a 26 year-old from Brampton has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving causing bodily harm. He’ll be in court June 5.
