The Liberals will form government again but it is not clear yet whether it will be a majority or minority government.
In Sarnia-Lambton-Bkejwanong, Incumbent Marilyn Gladu of the Conservatives is leading with 53 per cent of the vote with 37 polls reporting.
We’ll be updating the race in Sarnia-Lambton-Bkejwanong here throughout the night.
930 pm
Incumbent Marilyn Gladu of the Conservatives, is gathering this hour with her friends and campaign workers at the Navy Club in Sarnia. Gladu is hoping to claim her fourth term as MP.
The room is filling up as they wait for Gladu.

George Vandenberg – a Sarnia city councillor and para-legal – is the Liberal’s candidate. His Election Night event is at the Guildwood Inn.

Vandenberg was looking on as volunteers and family watch a live stream of the CBC election coverage. Room is fairly relaxed but some volunteers say they’re “nervous.”
The race across the country is widely seen as a battle between the Conservatives led by Pierre Poilievere and the Liberals led by new leader Mark Carney.
At the NDP campaign party at Greens in downtown Sarnia, campaign officials counted down to the polls closing. Lo-Anne Chan is expected to watch some of the results come in before making her way to the event.

Of course the polls close at different times across our nation; in Atlantic Canada, the Liberals Lead in 25 seats, the Conservatives in 13 and the Bloc in three by 9:33 pm.

10:07 pm
The CBC is reporting the Liberals are elected or leading in 119 ridings, the Conservatives in 83, the NDP is leading or elected in three.
Local results are slow to come in. Elections Canada’s website crashed around 7 pm and so far results are not being posted.
10:11pm:
The CBC projects a Liberal government adding its not clear if it will be a majority or minority. If the projection holds true, it will be the fourth Liberal win in a row.
10:16 pm
CTV also projects a Liberal win. And it puts Liberal Candidate George Vandenberg in the lead as the first seven polls come in for the Sarnia-Lambton-Bkejwanong.

10:31 pm
With 27 of 270 polls reporting, Gladu has pulled ahead with over 51 per cent of the vote according to CTV

At 10:45 pm
The CBC and CTV are projecting the Liberals elected or leading in 159 ridings, the Conservatives leading or elected in 133, the BQ with 24 seats leading or elected and the NDP leading or elected in nine.
With 71 polls reporting in Sarnia-Lambton-Bkejwanong, Gladu leads with 53 per cent of the vote and has been projected to be the winner in this riding. This will be Gladu’s fourth term. Throughout her career, Gladu has been an opposition member.
George Vandenberg of the Liberals has about 37 per cent of the vote and Lo-Anne Chan of the NDP now has about 5.6 per cent of the vote.

In ridings around Southwest Ontario; Dave Epp will return to Ottawa for the Conservatives. He has over 60 per cent of the vote.
Lianne Rood has been projected to be elected in the new riding of Middlesex-London with over 56 per cent of the vote.

The Liberals are projected to form government. At 12:26 am, the Liberals are leading or elected in 162 ridings, the Conservatives are elected or leading in 149 ridings, the NDP is leading or elected in eight ridings and the Green Party’s leader, Elizabeth May, has won her BC seat.
